Dirk Kuyt believes Craig Bellamy is even better now than when he was at Liverpool in his first spell at the club.
Bellamy rejoined Liverpool on transfer deadline day in August, five seasons after leaving the club following an ill-fated one-year spell at Anfield.
The Welshman has been in superb form in recent weeks and was rewarded for his performances by scooping the club's player of the month award for the second time running.
Kuyt is a big admirer of Bellamy and has hailed the impact the 32-year-old has had during his second spell on Merseyside.
"Craig has been unbelievable," Kuyt told the Daily Mirror.
"He looks even better now than he did the first time he was here - it's not very often you can say that about someone who spends two spells at a club.
"Usually, the first time is better, but this time, with Craig in better shape, he knows exactly what he can do and he's really professional in training every day, not just helping himself, but the whole of the squad."
