Hamburg striker Paolo Guerrero has realised he has to become a role model for younger players at the club.
The 28-year-old, who is under contract at Imtech Arena until the summer of 2014, has been involved in a series of scandals during his career.
But having scored five goals in 17 Bundesliga matches Guerrero is keen for his football to do the talking.
The former Bayern Munich youngster told Norddeutscher Rundfunk media: "If I am in training, I have started to look at my team-mates.
"Some of them are barely 19-years-old. I am already 28. I am now an older player and I need to be a role model for young players at this stage of my career.
"I need to show this attitude."
