AFC Wimbledon's Mat Mitchel-King is hopeful his injury nightmare is finally behind after experiencing a dismal start to the season.
The 28-year-old moved to Kingsmeadow from Crewe in the summer but only made his debut in December after a string of setbacks.
He was first struck down with glandular fever, then suffered a shin injury after colliding with a goalpost in training, and finally had a spell out with a back problem.
"Getting glandular fever was just one of those things but it made me miss most of pre-season training," he said.
"I hope it's behind me now. Colliding with a goalpost was another setback and the back problems I suffered as a result were a worsening of something I'd been experiencing for a while.
"I'm feeling really strong now. I'm putting back some of the weight I lost in the summer and I feel better after every game."
