Andy Scott has reassured midfielder Mark Bradley about his future at Rotherham, saying he still has a big role to play at the club.
Bradley, who has only just returned to action after suffering a dislocated shoulder in October, was initially told he was surplus to requirements when Scott first arrived at the club at the back end of last year.
The 24-year-old has gone on to make six appearances for the Millers this term either side of his injury, but hinted last week he was still unclear of his future.
However, Scott insists there is no confusion on his part.
"He is part of our squad and if he had any doubt in it, he hasn't said anything to me," he said.
"I am happy for him to be involved and want him to play games. He is doing what he can to play in the side."
