Brede Hangeland - Looking to bounce back from Wednesday night's frustration

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has set his sights on ending Manchester City's superb home run.

The Blues have won all 11 Premier League games at home this season and all 16 since Fulham earned a 1-1 draw at City last February.

Roberto Mancini's men remain top of the table despite losing 1-0 at Everton on Tuesday night, but only on goal difference from neighbours United.

Fulham, meanwhile, drew 1-1 at home to West Brom in midweek, which was something of a disappointment after thumping Newcastle 5-2 in their previous league game.

A trip to the Etihad Stadium has been a daunting prospect for most visitors but Fulham have drawn 1-1 away to London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea this season.

And City have failed to win in their last four league games at home to Fulham, while it was Martin Jol's side that ended the Blues' winning start to the season at Craven Cottage back in September.

"It (West Brom) was a game we looked at and thought we could win but we didn't," Hangeland told Fulham's official website. "Maybe we can go to Manchester City and get something there on Saturday.

"We know that on our day we can get a result against any team.

Good record

"We played well away to Arsenal and Chelsea this season and in recent seasons we've done well away to Manchester City."

Fulham led against West Brom through a 69th-minute goal by the in-form Clint Dempsey, but Somen Tchoyi struck eight minutes from time to give the visitors a share of the spoils.

"When you're in the lead that close to the end of the match it's always a bit frustrating to concede," Hangeland added.

"There wasn't much between the two teams so perhaps a draw was a fair reflection of the game. Of course, we'd like to have won as it was a home match."
