MK Dons boss Karl Robinson will not face any further action from the Football Association after he was sent to the stands.

Robinson was dismissed from the touchline during the League One fixture against Sheffield Wednesday by referee James Linnington seven minutes from the end of the game on Tuesday night following an incident involving Owls defender Reda Johnson.

The two men clashed inside Robinson's technical area and Johnson ended up on the ground.

A statement on the Dons' official website read: "Milton Keynes Dons can confirm that the Football Association have reviewed referee James Linnington's report from Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday at stadium:mk and will not be taking any further action following the dismissal of boss Karl Robinson."
