Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham are on the verge of letting Sebastien Bassong join Wolves.
Redknapp was talking to Sky Sports News after watching his side record a comfortable 3-1 victory against Wigan at White Hart Lane.
And he confirmed that defender Bassong could be heading to Wolves on loan but only if they get an unnamed player in on loan.
He said: "Bassong could be heading to Wolves on loan but only if we get in another player, but I don't want to name that player until I do the deal for him.
"That's another short term deal, but a good player in my opinion so that's a possibility. That's about it."
On the club's outgoings, Redknapp said that striker Roman Pavlyuchenko could be going to Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow although he said Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy was dealing with it.
He went on to explain how Juventus' Milos Krasic could have joined the club on loan until the end of the season but as he wanted a permanent deal, the North London club opted against the idea and the winger decided to remain in Turin.
He said: "I would have liked to have loaned him (Krasic) and in fact I was interested in buying him last season. He was expensive, he was about £15 million. He said they would loan him, but the boy didn't want to come on loan and we weren't going to pay that sort of expensive money for him at the moment so it fell through.
"If we got the boy from Juventus then Steven Pienaar could have gone on loan to Everton, so it's snookered me."
Gareth Bale scored twice as Spurs returned to winning ways with a stylish triumph over a hapless Wigan.
Spurs were splendid, playing their usual brand of free-flowing attacking football, and Bale put them ahead in the 29th minute.
Luka Modric dispatched a cool 18-yard strike to make it 2-0 five minutes later and Bale scored his second after 64 minutes before James McArthur grabbed a late consolation for the Latics.
But Redknapp explained his injury concerns after the game, adding: "Kyle Walker done a groin. Emmanuel Adebayor felt his hamstring and Rafael van der Vaart injured his calf.
"Jermain Defoe injured his hamstring and Aaron Lennon has the same injury.
"We seem to be getting a lot of hamstring injuries. I don't know what's happening."
