Celtic have completed the signing of Pawel Brozek on loan from Trabzonspor.
The 28-year-old will spend the rest of the season at Celtic Park, with the club having an option to buy the player in the summer.
Rangers manager Ally McCoist had spoken of his desire to recruit Brozek on loan as a strike partner for Nikica Jelavic, who himself has been the subject of
intense speculation throughout the transfer window.
However, Neil Lennon has won the race for the Pole's signature during what has been a busy month for the Celtic boss.
Jaroslaw Fojut has signed a pre-contract agreement with the club, while Mikael Lustig and Rabiu Ibrahim have also been recruited.
