Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has dismissed speculation linking him with a bid for Crystal Palace's Nathaniel Clyne.
The 20-year-old is out of contract at the summer and has been strongly linked with a January move away from Selhurst Park.
Manchester United were one of the clubs credited with an interest, along with Wolves, but McCarthy says he has not made a bid.
The Wolves boss admitted he had previously made an offer, but insisted he had not renewed his interest.
"There are rumours going everywhere," he told Sky Sports News.
"I saw we bid £2million for Clyne at Crystal Palace, where on earth that has come from?
"We did bid for him 18 months ago but that didn't happen and there is no truth in that at all."
