Clinton Morrison insists he does not want to leave Sheffield Wednesday after attracting interest from other clubs.

The striker has struggled to secure a spot in Gary Megson's starting line-up this season and took in a spell on loan at League One rivals MK Dons earlier in the campaign.

He was handed a start in Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie against Blackpool and scored the Owls' goal in the 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road.

The 32-year-old believes his goal proved he can still be a valuable asset for Megson and he is eager to remain at Hillsborough.

"The goal showed I'm still around," said Morrison.

"There's been a few clubs in for me, but I don't want to leave."
