Blackpool midfielder Elliot Grandin has joined French First Division outfit Nice on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Nice coach Rene Marsiglia confirmed earlier on in the week that discussions to sign the 27-year-old were well underway and now the deal has been completed.
The Frenchman's move includes an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Grandin has fallen down the pecking order at Bloomfield Road having made just seven appearances for the Tangerines this season although he managed to score two goals in recent weeks.
However, manager Ian Holloway feels he has enough attacking options in his side after the signing of Kevin Phillips during the summer, Lomana LuaLua and the talented Matt Phillips.
And the player's desire to move back to his homeland has now been granted by the Seasiders' boss.
Grandin, who is a former France Under 21 international, has previously played for Caen, Marseille and Grenoble in Ligue 1.
