Stuart McCall hopes Motherwell can agree a new long-term contract with striker Henrik Ojamaa.
The Estonian has scored three times in his last two games, including a brace against St Johnstone in the 3-2 win on Saturday.
Talks about the 20-year-old's future were held earlier this week between the club's chief executive and the player's agent.
McCall said: "He's hit a purple patch just now and scored two great goals, he will take the plaudits and rightly so.
"Leanne Dempster spoke to his agent during the week and hopefully we can get him tied up on a longer deal."
