Fringe Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf has joined German side Hannover for an undisclosed fee.
The Bundesliga club have handed the 24-year-old a deal until the summer of 2014.
The Senegal international's transfer comes after he never really made an impact at Old Trafford following his move from Norwegian side Molde.
He spent last season on loan at Blackburn and has had few chances to impress at United this term, appearing in just three Carling Cup games.
Hannover coach Mirko Slomka said: "I am happy that with Mame Diouf we have another alternative up front.
"We need to bring him in fast so he can help us in the Bundesliga and the Europa League."
