Hodgson & Kean target Fulham ace
Sky Sports understands West Brom and Blackburn are chasing Fulham defender Chris Baird.
West Brom and Blackburn both tried to sign the versatile performer Baird in the summer transfer window and they have now rekindled their interest in the Northern Ireland international.
Baid has been unable to nail down a regular place in the Fulham side this season following the arrival of Martin Jol, alerting clubs to his possible availability.
West Brom boss Roy Hodgson is a big admirer of Baird having worked with the former Southampton man during his time in charge of Craven Cottage and is keen on being reunited with the 29-year-old.
Blackburn manager Steve Kean is also weighing up a move for Baird as he sees his versatility - in that he can play in defence and midfield - as an important quality.
