Burton Albion have extended midfielder Andres Gurrieri's contract until the end of the season.
Since joining Albion on a short-term deal in October, Gurrieri has made two starts and seven substitute appearances for Paul Peschisolido's side.
After prolonging his stay at the Pirelli Stadium, the Argentinian told the club's official website: "It's great, I'm very happy.
"I've been working hard for it. I really wanted a contract until the end of the season.
"Now I'm thinking about playing in the starting XI. I want to help the gaffer and my partners here. We have a great team with many players who are doing well. It's healthy competition and it's good for the team.
"I haven't showed my best yet. It's not easy because it's new football for me. I think that I will show better things and I hope to do that for the team."
