Sky Sports understands Wycombe have rejected a bid from Bournemouth for Stuart Beavon.
Beavon has enjoyed a fine season at Wycombe this term and is the club's top scorer with 14 goals.
The 27-year-old's performances have not gone unnoticed with several clubs keeping tabs on his progress at Adams Park.
Bournemouth are in the market for a new striker and they are believed to have tabled a bid in the region of £250,000.
Wycombe have rebuffed the offer and are determined to keep hold of Beavon as they fight to secure safety in League One.
