Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia is set to find out the extent of his heel injury on Wednesday.

McLeish to wait before making a decision on winger

Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia is set to find out the extent of his heel injury on Wednesday. The 25-year-old will see a specialist after missing Villa's last three matches, in which they have won twice and drawn once. His last appearance was against Swansea on January 2, but the club hope that he will be fit to face Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday. Manager Alex McLeish said: "Charles will see a specialist today, because he still has pain in his right heel. "We'll await the results of that before we make a decision on whether he will be involved."

Injury update

Meanwhile, Stephen Ireland and Emily Heskey are set to return for the game at the Emirates after being absent for a number of weeks. Ireland has not played since the 1-1 draw with Everton on January 14, while Heskey last played against Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup earlier in the month. Gabriel Agbonlahor is also likely to play against the Gunners, despite being substituted through illness against Wolves last weekend. McLeish added: "Gabby is okay and trained yesterday after a bout of illness which forced him to come off against Wolves. "Emile has responded well to treatment on his Achilles and he will train later in the week, so he has a chance of making it. "We're very positive on Stephen and hopefully he will be back training with the group later in the week, too."
