South Africa international could be for the Premier League

Queens Park Rangers are understood to have made an enquiry for Mamelodi Sundowns striker Katlego Mphela. The 27-year-old has an impressive record in the Premier Soccer League in South Africa and for the national team, which has earned him the nickname "Killer". This record has brought him to the attention of new boss Mark Hughes, who is looking for striking reinforcements for his team.

Enquiry

Mphela's adviser, Glyn Binkin, confirmed there is interest in the marksman, but refused to confirm which team had registered it. "There has been an enquiry made, but I can't comment further than that," Binkin told KickOff.com. Mphela is currently the PSL's leading scorer with nine goals for the season and is the third highest Bafana Bafana scorer of all time with 22 goals in 44 matches.
