Central Coast Mariners are hoping to seal a deal for Hearts star John Sutton, Sky Sports understands.
The Mariners, who are clear at the top of the Australian A-League and will feature in the Asian Champions League later this year, are hoping to land Sutton.
Financially stricken Hearts are looking to move Sutton on, but they have rejected loan offers from a number of rival SPL clubs as well as sides in England.
But Sky Sports understands they would be open to the idea of letting Sutton move to Australia.
Twenty-seven-year-old Sutton joined Hearts in the summer on a Bosman from Motherwell, but his future looks set to lie away from Tynecastle due to their off-field issues which have beset them in recent weeks.
