Agent claims goalkeeper is set to sign contract extension
Cologne goalkeeper Michael Rensing is set to sign a new contract, according to his agent.
The 27-year-old joined the club in the January transfer window of 2011 after leaving Bayern Munich the previous summer and has become first-choice.
Rensing's current deal at Cologne runs for another year-and-a-half, but his representative, Sandro Schramm, claims an extension is close to being made official.
Schramm told Kicker-Sportmagazin "Michael feels very familiar with the club and its facilities as a whole.
"I am also of the opinion the club has an interest to sign new terms with him to make him stay at Rhein-Energie-Stadion beyond the end of his current deal."
