Freiburg have handed professional contracts to four youngsters from their Academy.
Matthias Ginter, goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow and defenders Immanuel Hohn and Oliver Sorg have all signed deals until June 2015 at badenova-Stadion.
And Freiburg general manager Dirk Dufner has no doubts about the quartet's ability after watching Sorg and Ginter play in last weekend's victory over Augsburg, with the latter scoring the winning goal.
Dufner told his club's official website: "Everyone was able to see last weekend that these players will not take a very long time to settle with the competition of Bundesliga.
"We plan to ensure they are to have a long-term progress. We are delighted to have signed contracts with these players."
The news continues a busy January for Freiburg, who have sold Papiss Cisse to Premier League club Newcastle in a £9million deal.
Freiburg last week also completed the signing of trialist Karim Guede, while former captain Heiko Butscher was sold to Bundesliga 2 side Eintracht Frankfurt for an undisclosed fee.
