Thiago Motta's agent, Alessandro Canovi, says Inter Milan will decide what the player's future will hold.
The midfielder's contract with the Serie A giants expires next summer and the Nerazzurri have yet to offer him an extension.
He has been linked with a move to PSG and Sky Sports reported earlier this week that Motta would welcome a move to the French capital.
Canovi told Sportmediaset: "We are waiting. Only after Inter make their decision will we announce our position.
"Surely the interest of managers like (PSG boss, Carlo) Ancelotti and (PSG director of football) Leonardo can only please Thiago, but we have not opened negotiations with PSG.
"He has another year-and-a-half left on his contract with Inter."
