Promising star training with Derby

West Ham's promising midfielder Oliver Lee is on trial at rival Championship club Derby. The 20-year-old, who spent the second half of last season and the start of this season on loan at League Two club Dagenham and Redbridge, is currently training with the Rams. The player, who is the son of former Charlton, Newcastle and Hammers midfielder Rob Lee, has yet to make an appearance for the United first XI, despite signing a new deal with the club in 2010. However, the club are keen to see the youngster develop further by playing regular football at a higher level. And Lee will be hoping to impress Derby boss Nigel Clough by featuring in their reserve-team game against Burton on Tuesday evening.
