Leicester City have signed Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso on a month's loan deal.
As exclusively revealed by skysports.com over the weekend, Leicester had lined up a deal for the England Under 21 international.
Delfouneso has found himself well down the pecking order at Villa Park this season and Villa boss Alex McLeish is happy to loan him out.
The 20-year-old had a spell on loan at Burnley last season and Villa believe another spell on loan will benefit his development.
Leicester are hoping to finalise the deal in time to have Delfouneso available for Monday's clash at Southampton, live on Sky Sports HD1.
Delfouneso is the second new signing of the month for Leicester following the arrival of Danny Drinkwater from Manchester United last week.
