St Mirren boss Danny Lennon remains hopeful of keeping captain Jim Goodwin at the club despite interest from Hibernian.
Goodwin is out of contract at the end of the season and Hibs have made an enquiry to sign the former Celtic midfielder.
St Mirren have offered Goodwin a new deal and Lennon is waiting to see if he will accept their offer.
"I've spoken with Jim. We have given him a very good offer so we wait for him," said Lennon.
"He is only exercising his rights and I think he is going to speak to Hibs next week but we are doing everything we can to keep him."
