Reds reject offer for centre-half

Nottingham Forest have announced that they have rejected an undisclosed bid from East Midlands rivals Leicester City for Wes Morgan. Sky Sports revealed on Thursday that the Foxes had made a move for the burly centre-half, and Forest later confirmed the approach. The Reds have now knocked that offer back, with the club reluctant to part with key men during the January transfer window. Nottingham-born Morgan has spent his entire career with Forest and has given no indication that he is looking to move on. With there no desire on the part of the player or the club to push through a move, Forest have taken the decision to inform Leicester that they have no intention of doing a deal. "Nottingham Forest can confirm that they have rejected an undisclosed bid from Leicester for central defender Wes Morgan," read a statement released on the club's official website.
