Blackpool move falls through
Crawley Town remain hopeful of keeping striker Tyrone Barnett at the club.
Blackpool lodged a bid for Barnett as revealed by
Sky Sports, but that deal is understood to have broken down over personal terms.
Crawley boss Steve Evans insists that, despite a number of bids for Barnett, he wants the former Macclesfield man to remain with the League Two club.
"As for Tyrone Barnett, there has been a number of written and verbal offers but I am still hopeful we can keep him," said Evans.
"He is a very talented lad, in fact he is a super player and as a manager I want to work with him and his type.
"He has improved out of all recognition since the summer and there is much more to come from him. He has a fantastic attitude and simply wants to play football.
"As a player he is refreshing to work with and arrives every day with a smile on his face, ready to work and learn."
