Wilson not confident on Fleck

Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson believes there is only "a slim chance" transfer target John Fleck will join the Blades.

Rangers striker Fleck, 20, was also a target for Wilson at the end of the summer transfer window and it appears he will be disappointed for a second time after holding talks with the player earlier this week. Wilson said: "It's going to be very difficult I think. I went up to meet the boy on Monday and had a very progressive meeting with him and his representative. "It all looked quite positive, but then there was a spanner thrown in the works, which I'll not go into. It looks like he'll possibly, although it's not 100 per cent, be going to Blackpool. "There's always a hope, he hasn't signed yet. We've always been hopeful with it, but if it's not the case then we move on. It's not the end of the world. We would have liked to have brought him here and there's still maybe a slim chance, but it is a slim chance." Both the Blades and Blackpool had already agreed terms with Rangers to take Fleck on loan until the end of the season.
