Palermo midfielder Armin Bacinovic's agent Amir Ruznic says the player would prefer a move to Fiorentina than the Premier League.
The former Maribor player joined Palermo in the summer of 2010 and had a positive first season with the club under coach Delio Rossi.
However this season he has fallen down current coach Bortolo Mutti's pecking order, making just seven league starts.
He has been linked with a move to England with Aston Villa a rumoured destination, however, Ruznic says Bacinovic would prefer to stay in Italy.
Ruznic told stadionews.it: "The interest of Fiorentina?
"No-one has contacted me but there is no doubt that Fiorentina would be a welcome destination for the boy, where he would work again with the coach Delio Rossi.
"The Aston Villa interest? There was something and the Premier League is a league which fascinates Bacinovic.
"But if he had to choose, Fiorentina would be the first choice."
