Grimsby Town joint-boss Rob Scott has dismissed claims that his star players will be on their way in the January transfer window.
The Mariners' 21-goal top scorer Liam Hearn is reported to have attracted interest from Premier League giants Chelsea as well as Championship promotion chasers Reading.
Hearn, 26, is not the only Grimsby player that could be on his way with Anthony Elding and skipper Craig Disley also rumoured to be leaving the Conference club.
But Scott is insistent any exit talk is pure speculation - emphasising the goal for him and fellow manager Paul Hurst is to build a team not break one up.
"We are on a good run and that's when you get scouts at games watching your players," Scott told the Grimsby Telegraph.
"But I can categorically state that we haven't had any enquiries for Liam, Elds or Dis for that matter during this transfer window.
"We don't want any either. We want our players to stay with the club because we are trying to build a team here."
