NEC midfielder John Goossens has agreed to join Feyenoord in the summer after snubbing a move to the Premier League with Swansea.
NEC Nijmegen midfielder John Goossens has agreed to join Feyenoord on a four-year deal in the summer after snubbing a move to the Premier League with Swansea.
The 23-year-old will put pen to paper on a contract providing he successfully comes through a medical in Rotterdam.
Goossens is out of contract in Nijmegen in the summer and will join Feyenoord on a free transfer.
He appeared set to move to the Liberty Stadium earlier this month after NEC agreed a fee with the Swans but instead chose to stay in Holland.
Feyenoord confirmed the agreement on their official website, with the free-kick specialist set to make the move to De Kuip on July 1st.
The club's technical director Martin van Geel said: "We are delighted that he has chosen Feyenoord."
