Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison has insisted that he has not turned down a contract offer from the club.

The 18-year-old England youth international has hit the headlines in recent weeks after Newcastle United launched a bid for the player.

United chief Sir Alex Ferguson then stated that Morrison had turned down the club's offer of a new deal, with his current contract set to expire at the end of the season.
