Kieran Gibbs says Thierry Henry's return has helped Arsenal in the dressing room as well as on the pitch and he is delighted to be playing alongside the Gunners legend.
Henry rejoined the club on a short-term loan deal earlier this month and enjoyed a dream comeback on Monday when he stepped off the bench to score the winner against Leeds in the FA Cup.
Gibbs was delighted to see the Frenchman make such an immediate impact, but says he has also made a big difference away from the field by raising morale around Emirates Stadium.
"When I was a young boy I used to watch him, so it was pretty amazing [to see Henry score against Leeds]," he told a webchat for Chinese fans on the official Arsenal website.
"I never got the chance to meet him before, but he has come back and shown what a true legend he is.
"He has added something to the dressing room, not just on the pitch.
"We know he can't play every game but his personality has come in and lifted the whole changing room.
"It is a pleasure to have him in the squad again."
