Gervinho loves playing under Robin van Persie and wants the Arsenal captain to stay with the Gunners.
The Dutchman still has 18 months left to run on his current deal and although there have been whispers of interest from Manchester City, Van Persie remains committed to the Arsenal cause.
And that is music to the ears of Ivory Coast forward Gervinho, who says Van Persie has a massive impact on the team.
"I don't want the sale of Robin van Persie," he told the Daily Mirror.
"Robin is a player who pushes companions to work harder and give more effort during matches. He is a dream to play with.
"Van Persie is the captain and the boss of the group."
