Napoli star Ezequiel Lavezzi will not be moving to Inter Milan in January, according to the striker's agent.
The Argentina international has been linked with most of Europe's top clubs following Napoli's impressive campaign in this season's UEFA Champions League.
It has been suggested Lavezzi will no longer be with his current club come the time of the last 16 first leg against Chelsea in February, despite his contract running until 2015.
To add to reports, the 26-year-old's representative, Alejandro Mazzoni, has been spotted in Milan, but he insists it has nothing to do with a potential move to Inter.
Mazzoni told Radio CRC when asked about the potential transfer: "It's fantasy football!
"This is an invention of journalists, because Inter have never contacted me and Napoli tell me that Inter have never asked Lavezzi."
Mazzoni, though, did not want to confirm or deny whether his client would sign a new deal at Stadio San Paolo.
He said: "His contract expires in 2015. Speaking of an extension means speaking about the market and Lavezzi is not on the market."
