Bolton could let striker go out on loan to gain first-team experience

Sky Sports sources understand a clutch of Football League clubs are keen on signing Bolton Wanderers' teenage striker Jack Sampson on loan. Sampson is highly regarded at the Reebok Stadium and has previously been on the books of Bolton's North West rivals Wigan Athletic. The 18-year-old is considered a target man by the Trotters, and is adept in the air and with the ball at his feet. He could now be allowed out by manager Owen Coyle to gain some first-team experience, with a string of clubs showing an interest. It is understood that Tranmere Rovers, Bradford City, Crewe Alexandra, Morecambe and Southend United are all weighing up a move for the England Under 19 international.
