Novara have bolstered their ranks for the second half of the Serie A season with the loan signing of experienced striker Andrea Caracciolo from Genoa.
The 30-year-old has had limited opportunities to impress at Genoa this term but is determined to make an impact for his new club.
Novara are currently languishing in the Serie A relegation zone but Caracciolo has been impressed with the way the club is run and believes they will beat the drop.
"I chose Novara because it is a club that has shown belief in me," he said.
"In reality there are also few clubs as organised or structured as they are in Serie A. I think it is the right place for my revival.
"I come from a not-so-positive period with Genoa and I want to redeem myself.
"Survival will not be an easy target, but Novara can do it and I say this because I am the first to believe it."
