Hartlepool boss Neale Cooper hopes striker James Poole will be available for Pools' League One clash with Rochdale this weekend.
Poole tweaked his hamstring prior to the 3-1 defeat at Sheffield United on New Year's Eve, and has missed Hartlepool's last two games.
However, Cooper hopes he can include the six-goal forward in his squad to face Dale on Saturday.
He told the Hartlepool Mail: "I'm not too sure about James just yet but I hope he's okay because I've heard a lot of good things about him."
