Taylor in groove at Grecians

On-loan striker Jake Taylor is relishing the chance to play regular football at Exeter, and hopes to score more goals in 2012.

The Reading frontman, who recently extended his temporary deal with the Devon club by a further month, has made a significant impression at St James' Park, netting twice in 14 appearance for the Grecians since arriving in September. And, although he would have liked to have scored more goals, Taylor revealed how content he is with life in the south west. "I'm really happy to have renewed my loan deal because I'm enjoying it so much down here," he told the Western Morning News. "The main thing is that I'm playing games at the moment and I don't really mind which position I play in. Goals are what every striker wants and I have scored a couple here. But I know the more games I play the more goals I will score. I just have to make sure I keep working hard for the team. "To come here and play as many games as I have is great for me and my future. Everyone has been great to me and has helped so much. It is a great club for me to come to and I haven't got a bad word to say about the place."
