Dundee United captain Jon Daly has laughed off rumours linking him with a transfer window move to England.
The in-form United striker, who took his goal-tally for the season to 14 in Monday's last-gasp defeat to Aberdeen, has been strongly linked with a move to Premier League duo West Brom and Wigan.
But the 28-year-old Dubliner told the Daily Record: "You just laugh it off, don't you? It's obviously all speculation.
"I've been in the game long enough to know there's always stuff like this, just rumours. But it's always nice to be linked with clubs like that. You must be doing something right.
"The boys had a bit of banter about it. Willo Flood gives me a bit - but I give him as much as I get."
Daly has taken the SPL by storm so far this season and his opener against Aberdeen on New Year's Day marked his 50th goal for The Tangerines.
He added: "Its a good return for me at United and I'm happy with that. Playing with Johnny Russell, Paul Dixon and Gary Mackay-Steven, I know I'm always going to get chances.
"Luckily enough against Aberdeen I stuck one way. But it obviously didn't mean anything as we got beat in the end.
"Hopefully it's the first 50 and I can go and get another. Now we just have to make sure we bounce back against Airdrie in the Scottish Cup."
