Udinese have completed the signing of French left-back Jean-Alain Fanchone on a free transfer.
Fanchone, 23, had been training with the club after his release by Strasbourg and has now agreed a deal with the Serie A side.
The contract represents a long-term investment by Udinese with the talented youngster's contract set to run until June 2016.
Fanchone played more than 50 games for Strasbourg before joining Ligue 1 side Arles-Avignon on loan last season, where he made another 21 appearances.
