Davis ponders loan pair future

Crewe boss Steve Davis will talk to the parent clubs of Jamie Lowry and Wes Fletcher before deciding to extend their loan deals.

Lowry is set to return to Chesterfield on January 9, while Fletcher's loan deal is due to expire on January 5 before he returns to Burnley. Davis told the club's official website: "I've spoken to the lads, but much will depend on their clubs so we'll have to wait and see. "Jamie started slowly against Morecambe, but got himself going and did well for us. He's been a good addition. "Wes has had less of a chance to show what he can do. He's a decent player, he's still very young and learning the game."
