Skysports.com understands Barnsley's hat-trick hero Ricardo Vaz Te has rejected a new deal at Oakwell.
Vaz Te, who scored a hat-trick in the New Year's Eve win over Leeds, sees his current contract expire at the end of the season after signing a one-year deal at Barnsley last summer.
The news has alerted a number of club's Vaz Te's possible availability in this month's transfer window with the Portuguese ace impressing at Oakwell this term.
The former Bolton man has netted 10 goals in 20 appearances this season and has started to fulfil the potential that had earmarked him as a star of the future during his time at the Reebok Stadium.
Barnsley are keen to tie down Vaz Te to a new deal, but they could find it hard to reject a sizeable offer for his services.
