Queens Park Rangers may be boosted by the first-team return of injured defender Anton Ferdinand next week.
Hoops boss Neil Warnock hopes the 26-year-old can play some part in the FA Cup third round tie at League One promotion hopefuls MK Dons.
Ferdinand has missed QPR's last three Premier League games after hobbling out of their 1-1 draw at Liverpool with a hamstring injury.
But Warnock insists he will not be taking any risks on the centre-half, who returned to light training on Friday.
"Anton will be doing some light running," he told QPR's official website.
"Hopefully he can feature at MK Dons next week. But he's got to be right."
