Lazio striker Djibril Cisse has quashed rumours linking him with a move back to Auxerre by insisting he has no intention of going anywhere.
Cisse started his career at Auxerre and the French club revealed earlier this month that they were interested in re-signing him in January.
Lazio coach Edy Reja responded by saying that he did not want Cisse to leave but speculation has continued to mount over a possible New Year switch.
Cisse has now made it clear, however, that he remains committed to Lazio and is determined to show his class.
He said on Twitter: "Hi guys I'm hearing a lot of things about me so I gonna clear the situation I'm going to stay at Lazio and show who I really are (sic).
"I'm not a quitter I'm a fighter and I will show you all thanks again for the support and I look forward to start to play again."
