Henry targets more points

But every game is tough from now on, says former skipper

Wolves midfielder Karl Henry insists his team must improve their "unacceptable" league position in 2012. Mick McCarthy's men hover perilously above the Premier League drop zone in 17th place after 10 defeats in their last 14 games. They finish 2011 with tough away games at Arsenal and Bolton having failed to win on the road since the opening day of the season. But Henry is determined to help Wolves pick up more points sooner rather than later.

Expected

Asked if he thought Wolves had underachieved this season, the 29-year-old said: "One hundred per cent. I don't think anyone is in disagreement about that. "We know it's not acceptable where we are in the league. "If you had asked us where we wanted to be at the start of the season it certainly wouldn't be in or just above the relegation zone. "We expected more points than we've got and it makes it hard every game you go into now. We need more points."
