Colchester United defender Magnus Okuonghae says he is yet to hold talks regarding a new contract, but is not worrying about his future.
Okuonghae has made almost 90 appearances for Colchester since joining from Dagenham & Redbridge in 2009 and is out of contract at the end of the season.
However, with the Us just four points outside the play-off spots, the 25-year-old is focusing on his football rather than fretting over a contract extension.
"I'm not really thinking about my long-term future at the moment," Okuonghae told the Green 'Un.
"I've not thought about it and I haven't heard anything from the club, in terms of contracts or anything like that.
"So I will keep playing my football, and when it comes to that conversation, that may happen, I will take it in my stride and deal with it in time.
"Football is a strange game, but I haven't spoken to anyone at the minute and no one has mentioned it at all. We will see."
