Kemy Agustien is confident he can play his way to a long-term deal at Swansea after putting his injury woes behind him.
The 25-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, has impressed since joining from AZ Alkmaar last year.
A niggling hamstring injury in September has limited him to just a handful of appearances so far this season.
But the Dutchman feels he will soon be back to his best and is determined to show Swans boss Brendan Rogers what he has been missing.
He said: "This is my last year and hopefully another contract will come soon. I would love to stay at Swansea.
"I really like the club, especially the football. But I haven't spoken to Brendan or the club about a new deal yet.
"I have loved playing in the Premier League, it's been like a dream. I grabbed my chance and then I got injured.
"There is a long way to go this season and I have to do my best and make sure my feet speak. We'll have to wait and see."
