Hull City striker Jay Simpson is unsure what his future holds as he nears the end of a loan spell at Championship rivals Millwall.
Simpson has scored four goals in 15 appearances since joining the Lions before the close of the summer transfer window, but is due to return to Hull next month.
During his time at The Den, Simpson's former manager Nigel Pearson has left the Tigers and Nick Barmby is currently in caretaker charge.
Barmby is expected to hold talks with director of football operations Adam Pearson next week regarding players out on loan and Simpson is waiting to learn his fate.
The 23-year-old Simpson told London 24: "You'd have to ask the Hull manager. I haven't spoken to anyone about it.
"If there's a deal to be done then we'll see. Hull might want to call me back in January."
Lions boss Kenny Jackett hopes to keep Simpson and said: "He's a London boy and been here before and spoken well of the club and I do think he's happy here."
