Bayer Leverkusen general manager Rudi Voller expects Michael Ballack to leave the club at the end of the season.
The former Chelsea star and ex-Germany captain will be out of contract in the summer of 2012 and has been linked with a move to the MLS.
Ballack has said he wants to continue to play at a high level, but Voller fears this will not be at BayArena.
Voller told Sky Deutschland television regarding the midfielder: "At this moment, the trend is he will leave our club come the end of the season.
"I am not expecting this, but things seem to go this way."
